Flying to Mississppi.

Friday morning, McKenzie and I flew to Mississppi. They don't have a direct flight so we flew from here to Memphis, then Memphis and Columbus. I hate to fly and McKenzie LOVES to fly. She talked the whole time and I was kinda glad....it kept me from being so neverous. I will never understand WHY the Airlines ask if children are traveling and there age but seat them NOT next to there parents but 3 rows back. I had to get them to put us together both times. It happened to us last summer also.
We had a great flight and loved seeing Granny, cousins, Aunts and Uncles.
My prayer is that Granny will be able to get around and use that leg agian. Even through I don't see Granny allot, I hope that when I do see her, she knows and feels that I love her, after all she is my Granny.

Awesome Week

The passed couple of weeks while I do McKenzie hair for church she has been asking allot of deep questions about God, Heaven and Hell. This passed Sunday was different. She made a comment while I was doing her hair, I stopped what I was doing and said "McKenzie, did you ask Jesus into your heart?" she said "Yes, Friday on the carpet in my classroom" I gave her a big hug and kiss (of course, I had tears in my eyes). We talked about it, I wanted to make sure it was a REAL thing. We talked to our Childrens Ministry teacher. Let me tell you. I was so proud of McKenzie. She really did it. God is so good.

They have Chapel at her school and she asked me to come to one. Wednesday, I went to Chapel with her and I wish I had my video camera with me. Dr. Taylor was to get someone to be his star and he picked McKenzie. She had to go on stage with him, He put his arm around her. Told everyone this is McKenzie Daniel, "McKenzie, do you know you are my sister in Christ". McKenzie said "yes sir". He told everyone what she had done in your classroom and you can be saved anywhere. He handed her a star and said "You are my star". I loved it. SO sweet.

Father Daughter Dance

Mckenzie had the best time at the Father/Daughter Dance. Mimi and I took her to Sweet n Sassy to get her hair done. She looked so pretty and her daddy looked so handsome.
