GOOD BYE TO 2008

Where did the year go?
2008 was a very good year for us and we only have God to Thank. But I can't believe 2009 is almost here. 2009 will be a big life changing year......my baby will start to Kindergarten. I can't believe the year has came so fast. It make me sad and happy at the same time. She is growing up fast. I have been so blessed to be able to stay at home with her and watch her grow. She is sassy, sweet, and strong willed. Randy and I don't know what did before we got her. We Thank God every night for blessing us with her and pray He will continue to bless us. God is good. Hope everyone had a good 2008 and a better 2009.

Santa thought McKenzie was Good this year

At Build a Bear

Santa came to Papa and Mimi house.

Christmas morning

Here she comes half a sleep.....

Santa was here.

Christmas is so much fun with McKenzie. She takes her time with each gift. This year we started a new tradition, Elf on a Shelf. We named our Elf "Hermie"....Yes, from the Rudolph movie. But Hermie would sit high on a shelf and watch McKenzie, then at night he flies to Santa, lets Santa know if McKenzie had been good that day and fly back to some where different in the house. Every morning, McKenzie would wake up and try to find Hermie. It was so priceless how excited she would get when she found him. Santa left McKenzie a letter with an unstuffed pink Build A Bear bear under the tree, saying Hermie loved waching her and thanked her for being a good girl. Yesterday, she went and got her new Bear stuffed. you will see it in the pictures. Hope everyone had a great and blessed Christmas.

Christmas Outfit

McKenzie decorated this tree herself and she is SO proud of it. Very Pretty McKenzie.

Before heading to Church this morning, I took a picture of McKenzie in her Christmas outfit. She looks like a doll.

McKenzie and the Reindeers

Tonight we took McKenzie to see Santa and his Reindeers. Two of the reindeers were there, Donner and Blitzen, she really wanted to see Rudolph. The men there said Rudolph was shy and getting ready for the big flight on Wednesday night. McKenzie loved seeing and touching the reindeers, even through it was freezing outside. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I love Rudolph.
Christmas Party.

So Pretty.

Today was McKenzie's Christmas party at Pre-K. She had such a good time and I loved being there with her. Here is some pictures of her Christmas dress. After Pre-K....we went to Papa and Mimi's house and you would never guess what was there for McKenzie. Another RUDOLPH. McKenzie loves Rudolph more than Santa.

Fun Weekend

This has been a busy but FUN weekend. Thursday night, McKenzie Mimi and Mommy went to the Library for Reading with Santa. Friday night, Randy and I took McKenzie and a friend Kennedy to Holiday in the Park at Six Flags. They had the best time, riding rides, sledding down a snow hill, and looking at all the pretty lights. Saturday morning, McKenzie was in her first Parade, left there went to Cookies with Santa then finally to a Birthday party. What a fun two days but we are worn out tonight.

Our First Gingerbread House

McKenzie and I made our first Gingerbread House. We had so much fun doing it and it turned out cute. McKenzie loved making it, she would put a piece of candy on the house then eat a piece.
