Need a good laugh.

Yesterday being McKenzie birthday and eating cupcakes at school, she was still going strong and goofing off last night at bed time. We put her to bed at 8:00 and at 9:00she was still playing in bed....I walked into her room and said "get up"..McKenzie said "why"...I said "because it is 6:ooam"...McKenzie looked at me real funny and said "I forgot to go to sleep". I started laughing and told her to go to sleep now.
She went right to sleep after that. Hope everyone got a good laugh like I did.

Happy 5th Birthday McKenzie

Wow what an exciting day today is. Five years ago my prayers were answered. God is such an awesome God. I prayed for 8 1/2 years to become a mom, on this day God granted my prayer with a sweet wonderful little princess. Thank Jesus.

First day of Kindergarten

Last Thursday was the first day of school. McKenzie cried that morning, when I picked her up, she said she cried one more time then she had fun. I cried all day even though I was busy. She likes school and no more tears now. I have been busy right now but miss her being with me all day. Our little girl is growing up.

Meet the Teacher night.

Before McKenzie's big day on Thursday, I took her to Sweet N Sassy, to get her nails and hair done.

Today, was a big day for us....We met McKenzie teacher for Kindergarten. McKenzie liked her teacher and the room, and she met 3 little girls in class and they played, while we (I) asked questions. I was worried about tonight and how McKenzie would be and agian God showed me IT WILL BE OK.

Great Wolf Lodge

We love this place. It's a great Hotel that caters to kids. This year for Mimi's birthday, McKenzie and her wanted to go there. We had a great time and Mimi had a wonderful birthday. Each room has a different theme. We stayed in the KidsKamp. Here is Mckenzie sitting on her bed in the KidKamp suite. there is a picture of the inside water park named MacKenzie Fort.

Mequite Rodeo

We loved the rodeo. McKenzie and Kennedy had so much fun and they looked so stinkin cute.

Making Dinner

Randy had a football meeting and McKenzie decided she was going to fix me and her dinner that night. Pigs in a blanket...yummy. she was so cute and they turned out great.

Busy Summer

This summer has been fun and busy at the same time. Love spending time and doing things with McKenzie. I can't believe my baby is starting to Kindergarter Aug 20th. I had mixed emotions....excited about her starting school but so sad we won't be together all day. This summer McKenzie learned to swim, cooking class, going to the beach in Florida, first time on an airplane, weekend trip to Coriscana, VBS, Roughrider games(baseball), redid the playroom, water park with friends, going to Build A Bear, shopping, birthday party's, spending time with Mimi and Papa, church activities and swimming at the pool. FUN FUN FUN. I LOVE BEING A MOM. I Thank Jesus everyday for giving me this great gift.
